The St Germans Priory Trust was established in 2013 with the following vision:
'to return this important building and surrounding grounds into an effective community resource as well as retaining it as a place of worship. It will become a welcoming visitor attraction and educational centre providing: a unique learning environment for schools from across the county; a focus for historic and archeological research; opportunities to learn about the origins of Christianity in Cornwall; exciting trails and projects for children; and a new tourist destination in Cornwall.'
We are seeking to recruit a new trustees with Arts, Event Management and Land Agent/Estates/Building Management experience. We need people who can help us achieve our mission and ensure the organisation is effectively managed. You would need to be able to make a commitment to the Charity and devote the necessary time as well as have a passion for the Priory, strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.
We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community. We are seeking to raise our game in delivering the next stage of an exciting new project.
